In this short video interview for Aviation Week’s Business & Commercial Aviation, Talaat Captan walks through Air Hollywood, the studio he describes as having everything an airport has, except airplanes that fly.
The conversation covers how the studio’s cabins, cockpits and terminal sets serve film and television productions, and how the same sets are used beyond entertainment. A key example is Open Sky for Autism, which lets families of children with autism go through check-in, security and boarding in a calm, rehearsed setting before taking a real flight.
The video accompanied a longer written interview with Captan by William Garvey in the same issue.
